Erica Cerra was born in Toronto, Canada on 31 October 1979. Her most famous role was that of her role as deputy Jo Lupo from the Syfy TV series Eureka. Cerra is born of Italian descent who was raised in Vancouver in British Columbia. When she was eight years old she was enthralled by acting. She appeared in a variety of television commercials. For a time she went off performing and came back in 2001 at 22 years old. Vancouver Lifestyles Magazine recognized her in 2005 as being among Vancouver's five most exciting actresses in the up and coming category. Cerra appeared as deputy Jo Lupo on the Syfy television show Eureka that aired from 2006 to 2012. In 2006, she also starred as the lead for The Michael Buble music video Save the Last Dance for Me. Cerra is known for her prominent roles on several well-known and critically acclaimed television programs, such as Battlestar Galactica and The L Word. Her film credits include Blade:Trinity which starred Wesley Snipes and Ben Affleck in the lead role, as well as Man About Town. Cerras' face and body was used as a model to create the character Ashley Williams for the Mass Effect video game series. Cerra also appeared as a guest star on Smallville The 4400 The Dead Zone Reaper Huff and Dead Like Me. Khondabi said that she got married to Joey Scribner Howard, her sweetheart from high school who works as a mechanical engineer working in the energy industry. Khondabi stated that she as well as Joey met in the middle of school at Greenwood Christian School and were close friends for a long time before they began dating when they were seniors in high school. Howard was a graduate of Dutch Fork High School in Irmo However, Khondabi and Howard kept in touch. They then started dating. Khondabi was a graduate of Emerald High School, graduating in 2007 and also of The University of South Carolina where she received a degree in broadcast journalism. She earned a minor in management of entertainment and sports. Joey is also an USC graduated. They also have a furry baby and a dog named Liam. Khondabi said that Joey and she are both foodies. One of her favorite dishes at home is onion rings that are served at Dixie Drive-In. Khondabi wrote that she's a curious individual. When I was a student in elementary school I did educational interview which were broadcast on the news show of our school and I was also responsible for the daily news headlines of our school. In the days of (then) Oakland Elementary our news program was called WOAK. Khondabi told us that, following her graduation from college and moved to Augusta Georgia, WAGT was her first job on TV as a news reporter. Khondabi reported that she worked in television news for around six years. After Augusta my first position was as a morning journalist for WOWK Charleston West Virginia. The next station I visited was Columbus Ohio for work in the role of a traffic reporter, and host of morning news.
